Wine Spectator gives 92 points to Alaya and defines it like highly recommendable wine

Alaya 2012Alaya, the red wine 100% Garnacha Tintorera that Gil Family Estates makes in Bodegas Atalaya, has achieved 92 points in the American magazine Wine Spectator and besides, has been selected as one of the six wines highly recommendable which will appear in the December edition heading the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2014 that this prestigious magazine publishes at the end of the year. Alaya is the only Spanish Wine presents between the best wines of the Wine Spectator ranking. Alaya is a powerful, thickness wine with muscular tannins and tasty fruits, which offers blackberry, redcurrant, liquorice and vanilla flavours. A powerful wine which can be a little exaggerated for ones, but which shows an amazing concentration.
