Wine Spectator gives 92 points to Alaya and defines it like highly recommendable wine

Alaya, the red wine 100% Garnacha Tintorera that Gil Family Estates makes in Bodegas Atalaya, has achieved 92 points in the American magazine Wine Spectator and besides, has been selected as one of the six wines highly recommendable which will appear in the December edition heading the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2014 that this prestigious magazine publishes at the end of the year. Alaya is the only Spanish Wine presents between the best wines of the Wine Spectator ranking. Alaya is a powerful, thickness wine with muscular tannins and tasty fruits, which offers blackberry, redcurrant, liquorice and vanilla flavours. GFE stands out in the Spanish wine tasting that International Wine Cellar publishes, a renowned wine magazine of the USA

Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares has achieved stand out in the annual wine tasting that the American publication “International Wine Cellar” writes about the Spanish wines commercialised in the USA. This magazine is directed by Stephen Tanzer, helped by Josh Reynolds, a famous viniculture critic who is in charge of tasting the Spanish wines. His opinion is highly considered by costumers and represents the benchmark to know which is the evolution of cellars and their wines. Well then, in this edition, Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares has collected 16 wines over 90 points, highlighting El Nido 2011 with 94 points, which is considered once again one of the best wines commercialised in this country. Atteca 2012 has achieved a bronze medal in the list of favorite red wines for Business class passengers of Finnair.
